Nov. 9, Thankfulness: Opening round win

Today was one of those crazy days with more to do than time to do it. I have no pictures, though I should have begged one from Melissa. At the end of the day, I joined James and Kathy and we ran into Wishek and picked up Melissa and Carson and headed to Napoleon to the Regional Tournament. Before going to the match we met Jessica for supper. She was headed to a Farmers Union meeting in Linton and we were off to the tournament. It was 1 to 1 after the first two sets, but then South Border kicked it in and took care of business. It was nice to be cheering for the winners. Hope we get to do that again tomorrow.

I was also thankful today that I was able to hang laundry on the line, including the bedding. Can’t wait to smell the wonderful fresh air smell of sheets on the line tonight. And, the carrots are washed and in the crisper. I will be wonderful to cut them up and use them in soups and stews and all that. And, the best thing of all, Jessica was able to come and spend the night with us. She has a meeting in Bismarck tomorrow, so it makes more sense for her to stay here for the night. Yipee!! We are just watching The Voice on DVR as the wind down from the night.
