I have been an avid gardener since I was in high school which is several years ago. My husband and I live in the northern part of South Dakota. We have a huge vegetable garden which is eaten, given away and canned before the snow hits. I also try to grow flowers and can jelly and applesauce which my grandson loves to take home with him each time he visits. We have three grown daughters and two young grandchildren. We are teachers by profession, but I have stepped back from that to be a part-time Pastor at a small church in a neighboring town. Hope you stop by to visit our garden and the rest of our lives now and then.
Our corn and sunflowers were huge in 2016. Too bad they weren’t for us to eat. The corn was colored for decoration and the sunflowers ended up being feed for the birds. Oh well, we did get a few pictures because of them. Nature needs its food too and I hardly think we would have made much of them. Hope you enjoyed your visit on the about me page and hope you stop back at the blog every now and again…..
